When comes to open-source, the first thing that comes to my mind is Linux – so they are about to help improving linux to match embedded hardware profiles. And next we may observe they wont have any headaches walknig on this road as we know proved linux portability – see Google’s Android architecture, based on linux kernel, the Motorola A1212 running linux OS or the MeeGo . Linux can fire them all.
